Ooms PMB supplied 65 MT Sealoflex® Color 50-70 and 20 MT Colorfalt V Green pigment pellets to its Turkish partner Asphalt Road Systems Inc. (ARS) in Istanbul, Turkey. The materials were used to produce green asphalt for the Istiklal Cadessi project in Istanbul, Turkey.
The green asphalt has been applied around the railway track of the Nostalgic İstiklal Caddesi Tram in the most famous street and entertainment area in Istanbul.
Istiklal Cadessi (Istiklal Avenue) is in Taksim, Beyoğlu district of Istanbul. The region of Taksim and Istiklal Street is the heart of the city. Visited by nearly 3 million people in a single day over the course of weekends, it is an elegant pedestrian street, 1.4 kilometers long, with houses, boutiques, music stores, bookstores, art galleries, cinemas, theatres, libraries, cafés, pubs, nightclubs with live music, historical patisseries, chocolateries and restaurants.
