Ooms Producten has appointed Abior AS (an Arstec company) as their distributor for its products and services.
Under this cooperation, Abior has the rights to market Sealoflex technology. They are also authorized to sell Sealoflex products, which include polymer-modified bitumen, synthetic clear binders for colored asphalt, stress-absorbing, and waterproofing membranes.
These products are available to clients in Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark.
Arstec, a family-owned business founded in 1979, has supplied the road industry in Scandinavia with products, machinery, equipment, and solutions for more than 40 years.
From January 1st, 2023, the asphalt and bitumen additives business was separated out under the daughter company Abior. Arstec’s and Abior’s business philosophy is to combine high quality, sustainable products with in-depth technological know-how and customer support.
Nick Brouwer and Robert van Gorkum are looking forward to the new partnership with Abior and say, “We were looking for a partner in Scandinavia with a broad network within the asphalt industry and a clear vision on the requirements of our customers.
Besides being close to the customers, Abior has extensive in-depth knowledge about asphalt production.
They are also well-versed in the future challenges we are facing as an industry, such as warm-mix asphalt and the transition from fossil to more bio-based types of products.
This expertise makes them the perfect partner to represent Ooms and distribute our premium quality Sealoflex products within the territory.
Eirik Strand and his team at Abior are delighted to represent Ooms Producten in Scandinavia:
“As Ooms’ distributor, we will be able to supply our customers with high-quality polymer-modified binders and clear binders for colored asphalt pavements.
Abior and Ooms share a vision for the direction of the industry and where we want to make an impact.
We feel confident that we will be able to provide products and solutions needed in the Scandinavian market and look forward to a fruitful cooperation with Ooms.”
