The Danish road construction group Pankas has entered into an agreement with Dutch Strukton Groep N.V. to acquire Ooms Producten B.V., a leading producer of high-quality products for asphalt production and application. The acquisition will strengthen Pankas’ European market position and bring important expertise in asphalt technologies to the Group.
Pankas Group, which specializes in constructing, refurbishing and maintaining roads in Germany, Eastern Europe, and Denmark, has reached an agreement to buy the renowned Dutch company Ooms Producten B.V. Ooms produces premium quality bitumen products for asphalt and other industrial applications. Its portfolio includes Sealoflex®, a premium binder for asphalt pavements with exceptional durability and strength. Sealoflex® has been used in high-profile projects such as the runways at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport and Hong Kong International Airport.
The acquisition represents a strategically important step in Pankas’ continued successful business strategy, following five years of solid growth in the European asphalt market with a dedicated focus on delivering top-quality products and services.
In addition to its existing Sealoflex® products, Ooms has a pipeline of innovative solutions that are also aimed at reducing environmental impact. Together, Pankas and Ooms seek to accelerate the development of sustainable asphalt solutions, contributing to even more environmentally friendly road construction, repairing and maintenance in the future.

Ooms reported a revenue of DKK 275 million in 2023 and has 25 employees. Previously part of Dutch company Strukton Groep N.V., Ooms has now joined the Pankas Group through this acquisition.
