In cooperation with Almabani General Contractors, Ooms PMB produced and delivered Sealoflex® Polymer Modified Bitumen according to specification PG76-16, for the upgrade and expansion works of King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The project scope included the upgrade and resurfacing of the major runway and taxiways.

Ooms PMB installed and operated a mobile Sealoflex® PMB blending plant at the project site, processed the 60/70 bitumen to the required PMB specification and discharged it to the bitumen tanks of the asphalt batching plants of its client (just in time principle).

The local production set up was of great benefit to the client from a logistic and quality management perspective.
